Ever since being directed towards the photographic department as a form of therapy during my heady days as an art and design student, I have continued a long and passionate love affair with the lens.
I also love genuine, natural people and hearing about their experiences. Being able to put these two passions together and earn a living from it is a privilege I enjoy on a daily basis. In fact, the day when a studio session actually feels like work is the day I pack away my tripod permanently.
I love what I do and I love being able to share that enthusiasm with others even more.
There’s nothing more rewarding than watching clients’ reactions when they see their pictures for the first time. Nor to hear someone who was dreading their studio session turn around and say how much they enjoyed it and want to come again.
It’s always a great thrill for me to have helped a family, a business or an individual to preserve a specific moment in their lives for future generations to admire and enjoy.
Second only to portraits, my second passion is fine art photography and wall art, some examples of which are to be found on the above link, all available to buy.
I am a member of the SWPP, the British Institute of Professional Photographers and the Master Photographers’ Association.
